The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel at home during our stay. the cozy and unusual experience of staying on a boat-hotel added a unique touch to our business trip. We particularly enjoyed the shared leisure room, where we could relax with a cup of tea and a good book.
The water pressure in the shower could have been improved, and the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. the location of the hotel, near a factory on the other side of the road, may not be appealing to everyone.

I recently had a truly delightful stay on a barge in the charming city of Reims. The owners of the barge, Graham and Claire, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even made sure to provide us with an early breakfast without any hesitation. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a hot and powerful shower in the ensuite. And the best part? Parking was conveniently located just a few meters away. With the added bonus of a free breakfast included in the great value price, this two-night stay on Peniche Serenity was definitely a highlight of my holiday. I highly recommend this unique and enjoyable hotel experience.

Title: Perfect for a Serene Retreat!
I would have appreciated a better vacation for senior people if there were more seating options with backrests in the outdoor areas. The children working there were very helpful, but a few more comfortable seating spots would have been great for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Guests have access to a large and welcoming saloon, as well as a shared dining room for a hearty meal. the hosts are friendly and helpful, providing tips and making reservations for activities in the area.

Claire and Graham were so cool, always up for a chat and making sure we had the best time. The breakfast was incredible, with heaps of yummy options like fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs made to order. And the best part? We got to go on these awesome excursions! We visited a 5th generation winemaker and explored a super old château. It was like something out of a movie, so epic!
The only thing we wished for was a bit more nightlife. We're young and love to party, so it would've been awesome if there were some cool bars or clubs nearby.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm hospitality from the owners. The breakfast spread was absolutely mind-blowing, with a delicious selection of fresh fruit, yummy pastries, and the option for hot cooked eggs. The chilled-out vibe onboard the boat was incredibly relaxing, and we loved spending time in the hot tub, sipping on cocktails from the bar/lounge area. The rooms were super comfortable and had a jaw-dropping view. Having the option of free Wi-Fi and a car park was a bonus. We highly recommend this unique experience, especially for young adult travelers.
